Our
rustic but chic, private romantic barn for
two, is safely grounded near a bluff above the emerald green and azure blue
waters of Puget Sound. Beneath
the bluff the treasures of this mystical land await you. And as if a watcher
over the flock, Mt. Baker stands guard on the distant horizon.
Quiet, cozy and as
comfortable as home, the Big Red Barn truly "is" a home away from home.
Close the barn doors and close out the rest of the world or swing them wide
open as you sit in an overstuffed chair, inviting in the invigorating
Northwest breeze and admiring the beautiful meditation pond with it's
soothing waterfall.
Our resident Bald Eagles
will surely give flight to your fancy and the distant sounds of lapping
waves will refresh your mind and spirit.
This charming hideaway
really was a barn. Born in the 1890s, and classically renovated by Todd and
Carol Eskelin, the barn features an open beam ceiling, antique windows, and
a luxurious bath and jetted tub for two.
